Default Another G5X2 Successfully Installed!

My buddy Tom from the Corvetteforum just left with an ear to ear grin on his face. We also did an LS6 intake to get him up to speed since his C5 is a 99. It fired right up and was rumbling away. This is my second install, both of which are G5X2's and I've gotta say, this thing is nuts! We had the process down cold on the dual springs and were moving fast. Tuning and dynos this coming weekend. My WS-6 is going in with this C5 and a A4 Formula on the original G5. I think we need to lobby Lou to get on his payroll for marketing in Detroit!

I'm near Detroit. What time do you want me over at your house for my install?

Patience! :p

The More Performance tool worked well on the back springs, but it boogers up the tool a bit.

I'm not to far away and need a cam installed. How much? I only have a little Tr224 that needs installed though.

I'll be more than happy to help anyone installing this cam and springs. Hell, I really don't mind working on any installs. It's amazing how easy these cars are to work on.
We've found that an overhead compressor from napa works best. Some say it's lethal, but I think we've got it to the safest it can be. The MORE tool is the only way to fly on on the rear springs on an F-body. PM me if you want some help on a cam install. I work cheap!

Ramair346, are you using magnets for the lifters. I was gonna buy the JPR tool when I install the cam. I definatly don't want to drop a lifter

Y2KAIR: Yep, 16 pen magnets from AutoZone. I've seen that tool and it looks like a sweet piece that guarantees no lifter dropping. I opted for $30 in magnets.
