should i replace my timing chain
on a budget.
putting cam in car here soon.
230 236 110 lsa
putting in katech ported oil pump.
car has 70000miles
DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE TIMING CHAIN OR NO?

Are you sure that your's is not hitting, once I ran into the problem I looked and found that it requires modification.
used the double roller and a slp oil pump with the spacers and cleared, engine turns voer fine, doesnt hit. something was wrong with yours or some ****. plenty of people have them and dont run into problems
