Default shift points, where do they need to be?

im having to send my computer back for some idleing issues, so i thought i would mess the shift points. i have an f13 cam on a stock A4 and bottom end. the current shift points are at 6000 RPM. the cam just starts to pull hard around then so i want to extend the shiftpoints as far as i can without hurting the stock 100k mile A4 or bottomend.
i was thinking 6200 RPM, do you guys think that is safe or stick to 6k? any input is apreciated, thanks

I had the F13 in my old Z28 and the shift points were set at 6400

The cam itself is good for 6500 rpm +/-, I got a solid 6400+ worth of power on it from my stock bottom end LS1 with the same cam and an LS6 intake

The A4 in mine was a basic rebuild and yes the bottom end was stock. The best it ran on motor was a 7.47 @ 92. Car was cam only at the time with TCI 3K stall, lid, LCAs and 2.73s.
