So, whats this short block worth? It could get some money at a scrap yard. I really do want a new 402 LS2 short block, but I can't exactly afford it the way I want.

I can salvage the crank, rods, cam to sell. Are the pistons resellable? I've got the complete 853 casting heads, ls1 intake/tb, injectors for sale too.

not sure about scrap value of block.

cranks are expensive new, and stock one is pretty stout. you could probably sell it for a couple hundred??

rods, no idea.

stock cam? 50bucks

stock pistons resellable? i highly doubt it

ls1 heads, 100-200?

ls1 intake, 50bucks

ls1 TB, 70bucks

28# injectors, 50-70?

eric dont be jackass and buy a new block or get that bitch resleeved. seriously listen to them ive known you how long??? lol dont be a dork and think you can run it ok get a new block! your building this car and its not running. its in pieces. its been in pieces for a while so its not like time is the issue. just take your time and get some money and get a new block. or get it resleeved...cause i will laugh my *** off the next time i see you if you dont buy a new block. the horsepower you will put out will be worthless. not trying to be a dick just saying. and im sure somebody else on this forum is gonna read this and be like "hey that was rude" but then again i know him as a friend so its all good lol. also that TB you gave me is working great. it was sticking a little at first but now its gravy. thanks man

well then its gonna take 6+ months. take your time man. if you put that thing together with that gouge or crack or whatever its all going to be for nothing. the whole project will be pointless because it will be a heavily flawed car. and its supposed to be like showroom nice when your done so do it right.

Darton sleeves would be badass.

I like the idea of keeping the original block for some reason.
