which cam do u reccomend???? ok people have been telling me that they have gotten good results w/ the 220/220 .114 cam, but i wanna go a lil bigger and go w/ the 224. but the question i have is w/ the 224 do u reccomend .112 or .114 lobe separation?? is there much of a difference other than lope and sound? i know the .112 sounds bad *** but is it worth putting in and having to replace when smog time comes? or should i just go w/ the .114?

Re: which cam do u reccomend???? For smog purposes I would go with the 114.As far as power the only thing that will change is the power band.I havent seen any proof of lower lsa making more power although 112 does sound better.But just because I havent seen it doesnt mean its not true.

Re: which cam do u reccomend???? if you are going to be sweating come time for emissions, save yourself the time and energy and get it on a 114. you will still have the lope and of a large lift hydraulic roller and a 112 next to a 114 isnt that much variance, just a small shift in low end powerband.

your sure a 224, and not a 220? Ive never heard of any aftermarket cam pass smog on a LS1.
