I voted Fast 90/90, but we know nothing about your combo so hard to say. Depending on your car, an LS6 intake may be the best bang for your buck.

I'm certain this will be an over-whelming response for the FAST on this forum

I never voted, depending on your mods the LS6 might be better for you. Its a waste of money to get the FAST 90/90 if you only have bolt on's/cam. Unless you are going to get some nice aftermarket heads/cam, I wouldn't even think of spending the money for it.

Hands down, LS6 intake with an aftermarket cam. Together would still be cheaper than the 90/90 and hell of allot more power. Sorry to ramble but the thread is kinda worthless without more info on the application. Unless all you want to know is whats the best aftermarket setup you can get without going custom, than Fast it is.

edit - just saw in the middle of the thread you are going to do H/C, I say get the 90/90

Go with 90/90 man. With those future mods going in, you'll want more than the good ole Ls6. I went from ls6 to 90/90 and sotp is amazing, with explosive midrange. MOds in my sig.

good luck

The big difficulty I have with the voting is that we all know that the FAST is the cadillac of IMs but he asked the best for the money. At $700.00 plus an TB on some this is not a cheap item for the HP gains. In actuallity a ported ls6 or Ls7, whichever will fit your car is the best for the money.

Nothing But Good Things about FAST?

Yeah - But jeez, Am I the ONLY one who finds the prices RIDICULOUSLY expensive for just an Intake Manifold and Throttle Body?

I'd consider getting them if i didn't have to drop $1200 on it...

Are all the brands that expensive?

Yeah, but it's 25whp plus the fact that you'll probably never need to upgrade in the future.

^^ no.

ls6 intake = 300 bucks
Weiand = ~ 300 bucks
Weiand Polished = ~500 bucks
BBk = 300 - 400 bucks
Prof. Prod 96 = ~400
Prof Prod 96 Polished = ~550
Fast intake = ~700

then comes the throttle bodys...

you can make big power with the ls6 thats what i have and will stay with since its not a race car but a daily driver and the cost isn't worth the bit of gain but i do like the fast 90/90

They are probably decent, but just have not had the following for whatever reason that the FAST has..

I deal in R/C airplane products and it's funny to see what products get labelled as superior... Often times, it's just the marketing aspect..
