just 02 or did 01 also get ls6 intake? my friends having trouble with a 01 z28 that claims he only has a lid and catback, but i think an ls6 intake/tune would explain it

The LS6 intake went hand in hand with not having EGR on the cars anymore in 01/02. Only LS6 intakes that work with EGR are the ones modified aftermarket (like SLP does)...if the car has no EGR from the factory, it has an LS6 intake from the factory, if it has EGR from the factory (98-2000) then it has an LS1 intake, and the only way to upgrade to an LS6 is to either delete the cars EGR system or use an LS6 thats modified to work with EGR.
