Default I can't make up my mind on cam.....

I would really like some feed back on a few cams that I have been looking at. The first cam is the TR 224/ 224 .563/.563 112lsa, and the second cam is the GM ASA 226/236 .525/.525 110lsa. i really like both cam, absolutly love the sound of the ASA. I would like to know what people think would be the better way to go. It will be a d/d and an a4. Can't be to loud. I am planning to go with the fast 90, pace lt's, catback, and patriot stg 2's. Please help me out and thank you in advance for the help.....

if you do a search you can probably read for a couple days. not a bad idea really. only you know what you will be happy with.
buy the november hotrod they have dyno results on several cams.

I would go with the TR due to its wider LSA. That will help smooth out the idle (compared to the ASA cam) and save your driveability. I have heard the ASA is harder to tune, especially with an A4.

PHP Code:
It will be a d/d and an a4. Can't be to loud
The ASA cam will lope hard with long tubes and will be noisy. To get the max power from the cam a non restrictive exhaust is required. I currently have the ASA cam in my car with an M6 and have to ride the clutch or put in neutral to prevent bucking below 1,500 rpm. Overall the performance is great but make sure to save money for a good tune. Good luck.

You can always call or pm a sponsor and tell them your goals. TR, TSP, Speed Inc, etc. There are alot of them that have tried many different combo's and could grasp your goal with your current mods.

I too have the ASA cam, with an A4 and have no drivability issues, a tune is very important though. However I wish I had went with a larger cam like a Trex v2 or MS4now. Also my car is very lopey and if its idling in the driveway the pictures on our walls will shake, I have LT's with an X and dual flowmaster 1 chambers, I love the sound and I drive it 65 miles a day for work, but its too loud for many, including my wife.

First do bolt ons and a STALL, then think cam and heads

No, no no. That is far too logical.
The ASA cam will be too loud for you. Get the TR 224° on a 114° LSA. Should be mild enough.
