What if the gasket doesn't seal properly after you have torqued the head down already?
It could happen.

Dang, that sucks... ebay USUALLY has them, but they may have already been sold to people who are in the same boat. Anyway... I'd vote for ARP bolts, especially since you can re-use the bolts. Sucks you can't afford them.

I think I've had one, if not both heads, off my car three times since putting the studs in on the first H/C swap. Not only did it save me money, but time as well. Plus, they're added insurance against improperly torqued heads.
I'd gladly spend the $230 again....

SDPARTS= NO BOLTS
ThunderRacing= GM bolts shipped right out!
SDparts held up my complete cam/gaskets & bolt order for 2 weeks because of the bolts (they gave me the run around to)- so I cancelled the order & went with a Thunder Racing cam & everything shipped right away.
