I ordered some GM headbolts from texas-speed...they said that they are on backorder....canceled that and ordered them from gmpartsdirect and they are on backorder...screw that. Anybody know where I can get these in the next 12 days? any sponsors have them in stock?

Did you get this e-mail too? I just ordered all of my stuff and went ahead and upgraded to the ARPs, they're not much and it can't hurt. They shipped out my heads/cam/etc immediately after I upgraded.
GM is currently back-ordered on their cylinder head bolts, and they have not given us an ETA as to when they will be ready to ship. The cylinder heads will take approximately four to five days to build, but the head bolts could be back-ordered as long as two weeks! If you would like, we can upgrade the order to a set of ARP cylinder head bolts for an additional $85.00.

I just ordered some from Summit yesterday (along with a bunch of other GM parts), shipped this am. I was going to use SDPC but I didn't get a return to a PM I sent and was transfered to a voicemail when I tried to order. Oh well.

The additional cost doesn't justify the benefit of being able to be re-used.
