I measured it by putting clay on the pistion and turning the engine over, then used a caliper to measure the clearance. Would this be fairly accurate or is there a better way?

I called LG yesterday and talked with Anthony and i told him my goals with the car and he told me to just go with the G5x3 cam and upgraded springs for now as it will clear the stock heads with no problems. I will then be going with a set of AFR 205's, Fast 90/90 HD oil pump and timing chain, and Exedy clutch later on dwon the line.

What i meant was i'm not looking to have a built up motor or a FI setup either, the mods listed in my signature are as far as i'm going with the power mods. I just want a nice H/C setup with a basically stock block without doing any major modifications. 425-450 RWHP will make me happy with a nice sounding cam. I'm spending the rest of the mod money for Pfadt suspension mods as well as an upgraded braking system and new oem wheels and GY F1 tires.

Thanks for all who replied and answering my questions.

Patrick

How did you measure the PTV? Since i am not sure how accurate the clay method is.
