I do reset my oil life meter everytime i change the oil....and if it doesn't measure oil life or anything to that extent then how in the world could it be coming on like clock work with mobil 1 in 3k or less but if i run royal it will go over 10k easy without coming on?
I run my truck hard all the time and you can't tell me i rev it more in 3 k than i do in 10k?
So what exactly is the point of the oil system basically is what i'm asking?

I wouldnt get worried over it. If it bothers you, run something thicker next time. M1 is on the thin side of the 30 wt spectrum. You can run GC or amsoil or simply mix in a couple quarts of thicker M1. Its not gong to make your motor blow up.
