What kind of mpg do mild to really big cammed Ls1's get with a 6-speed with 3.73 or 4.10's? a big cam is something like the G5-X2 cam.

well with 4.10's you would probably see the same gas mileage as an auto with 3.23's. thats just the gears part of it dont know about cam

Too many factors... HOW you drive the car, and WHERE you drive it (interstate, city), etc etc will greatly effect the numbers.

Depends on the cam quite a bit also; what do you call really big? I had a '67 with a 270/.530 that got 7 to 8 mpg, but that's a really big cam in a 389 inch motor with no fuel injection.

MTI X1 cam, A4 with 323's and I get about 20ish mpg in the city and highway...really doesn't matter w/the A4...w/the 6spd you should be able to get that a bit higher.

TR224 cam, TEA s2 heads, ported TB, FLP headers... 12mpg w/A4 and 3.23s. Though I haven't tuned it yet... i'm running pig rich

well, on my first tank with the G5X2 I got 190... and im sure you can guess how that was driven! I beat the **** out of it pretty much, car is too much fun to drive now to enjoy something like mileage! its a 6 speed with 3.73s... I bet with decent driving its 240-250 a tank easy. Good driving I wouldnt have any idea cause I cant keep my foot out of it Car is a 01 with the larger fuel tank as well...
