Rob from what i have heard is that if you start bumping compression up to around 11.5 and up then you start have detonation problems with CA pump gas. Although Im not sure what the end compression ratio is going to be for you but im pretty sure that you arent going to have a problem with detonation but it might be a good idea to trailer the car to Hayward when we finish.

For every cc less its about .006 shaved off of the head...If you are looking for 59CC chambers thats about .042 milling...Combine that with cometic gaskets and that yields 11.83 static and 8.87 dynamic...Thats pushing it with pump gas...Probably not recommended...
I would go with a 62 chamber with cometics and that will give you 11.3 and 8.5 which IMO would be perfect...Sounds like the exac set-up I am workin on![Secret2](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/secret.gif)

You could always run a thicker gasket to bring the compression down. I know the GM MLS gasket is thicker then the cometic .040's. I think AFR told me that depending on the year MLS gasket, they range .052-.058

There is a guy on this board with this exact set-up...I forget his SN...Anyway, he has AFR's milled to 62 or 63 and has the F13 cam...Ported fast with the 90/90, EWP, QTP's and a 9 inch...He layed down 480RWHP and 430RWTQ...IMO this combo is great with the AFR's...To many people get caught up with the big cams...Yada yada yada...I think its more of an ego thing than any...I prefer the torque down low as to a highway queen...Just some food for thought...
I will try to dig up that guys thread for ya...
