Likely cause a miss at any RPM if you bend a valve. If you have access to a boroscope, you can look in the spark plug holes for eyelashes on the pistons. Otherwise a compression check will verify. Did you measure after the motor was assembled prior to running? What's the setup?

I would rotate the motor over by hand with a ratchet and if they hit you will feel it ever so slightly. And that way you don't tear up the motor.

usaully a loud knocking and an even louder bang followed by an embarrasing coast to a stop...but JR racing has it right on

PV clearance in and of itself wouldnt cause a high rpm miss, but if you've bent a valve as a result of poor PV clearance, then you'd be missing a lot and at pretty much any rpm

Well it is not missing through all rpms and just only around 5000 rpms.
I have to be honest I didnt check pv clearance, other than just installing two rocker arms on the motor and turning it over by hand. The dual springs are brand new. The setup is Terminator heads with with a T-rex in a six liter lq9 block. The pushrods however are only 7.35" long.
I have checked the spark plugs , plug wires and etc....
I kind of think that it is detination or the injectors are flooding out the sparkplugs.
.
The "Miss"" is more like very light "pop" or "pff" type of sound and then the car stumbles , so i get off the throttle. I am not sure if it is even a mis. I played with spark plug gaps of tr55 v and r type and .45 lessend serverity of it. I then installed some NOS octane BOoster and filled it up and the sound went away. After getting low on fuel I tried a light pull to 5000
agin without the octane booster and the mis/sound came back.
I am going to add some more octane booster and see what it does.
The only thing is that if it is detonation it is not showing up on any of the logs while logging in hp tuners.
Appricate the help guys

well if adding octane makes it go away then it sounds like a tuning issue...with that much fuel you shouldnt be leaning out at all and you shouldnt have to worry about drowning your plugs either (especially if you havent fouled any). you might have too much timing up top for your compression.

seems like a tuning issue since your problems only come at a certain rpm......what fuel system are you running? (injectors, pump, etc)

by the way nice avatar lol
