Default Best stock casting heads to port???

I got the hook up right now so im looking for the best stock casting heads to be fully ported, right now i have fully ported 241 casting they are doing good but my buddy is doing it for free so why not try to find better

243s I would assume.

Depends. I would think the best heads to port would be a set of L92's. Epoxy the runners and go from there.

No epoxy, go with 243's

No budget, C5R.

Just get some stock LS6 heads (243's) and port those, you'll be good to go

243 castings are a great place to start. If you need a great price on a set, give us a call.

It doesn't matter. Once ported the port will be the same be it a 241 or 243 or any other casting.

Um...no.

The 243 castings have more material on the short turn so the air can make it over that radius better. The 241 heads don't have that much there, so you can't have a good of a port as the 243 unless you weld or epoxy. Even then, you still have disadvantages.
