Back to the original question at hand. Yes the ms4 will produce more hp and tq. But the 224 cam you have is a good for the street with some track use. If your car see's more track time than street go ahead and get the ms4 if not save your money for the extra 20-25 hp your looking for. Also you might want to read the sticky about cams to help you with your decision.

this thread is not doing anyone any good and it needs to be ended. The point is there is no member here that can improve your car Benny because none of us can even do what you have done to your mildly cammed n\a 346 making 490 rwhp. to even come close we would have to use a larger cam, ported heads, more compression, lighter crank, rods , pistons, valve train, larger intake and throttle body and we still may not do what you have accomplished. So keep on punking.

most of us here on ls1tech.com reveal our specs. including patG (500rwhp with heads cam) there is no big secret. if PatG tells everyone how he made 500rwhp on heads an cam combo why shouldnt anyone else tell how they made thier power? 495rwhp with spray is nothing special.

If you want to use the entire RPM range i say to stick with the Thunder RAcing cam. I go the MS3 and most of my power is high in the RPM range. IF i were to get in a battle with a car at low RPMs i can't expect much until i get to about 4500rpms. Yes with gears the MS4 will make the TR cam look foolish, but your best bet is to look ahead at what your expecting or looking for in your car.
