Trust me I know
I hope this was a typo...My car with stock heads a stock pulley ant stock TB is running in the mid 11's. I am going with those 2.5PRC 5.3 heads and an UD pulley and 90/90 I will expect low 11's high 10's. Also depends on M6 or A4 for the gearing too, with my 373 gear and 4500 stall My RPM's NEVER fall under 5900-6000 shifting at 6900. when deciding the gear stall size makes a difference along with trans type and weather or not you plan on spraying it, I know a lot of ppl like to spray this cam.

Hi fellas. This head and cam combo works very good. The piston to valve clearance is tightbut, and has to be checked!!!!!You can NOT run a thinner than stock head gasket because of the clearance problems, Unless you flyct the pistons. If you flycut then you can run a thinner head gasket too get your quench even better. The reason the heads work well is because of the smaller runner, compared to the ls6 heads, on a 346 ci motor.Dont get me wrong ,ls6 heads are very good also,IMO the 5.3 are a tad better. The stage 1 have stock valves, the stage 2.5 have stainless 2.02 & 1.575 valve for better flow. Give Texas Speed a call, they are very friendly. Just make shure when you do the install,TO CHECK PISTON TO VALVE CLEARANCE. IT HAS TO BE CHECKED !!
