How accurate to be considered "balanced"

I weighed my pistons and rods and they were all within 1.5 grams of each other, is that considered good enough? Weights of diamond pistons and eagle rods (assembled) were as follows:
1-1257.5
2-1258
3-1258.4
4-1257.4
5-1257
6-1257.4
7-1257.5
8-1257.7
The first time I weighed #2 it was way over (1304.1), then I realized it had the bearings in so I removed them and got the number above.
This means I can put any piston on any journal right? Or am I missing something?

That's pretty much the standard for pistons and rods. Cranks can normally be dialed in a little more to 1/2 gram or less. Pistons and rods usually spec out at 1-2 grams on a good balance job. As with anything it could be better or worse but 1.5 grams is right in the middle.
