It all just depends on what kinda power you want. I love mine. Really gas milage just depends on how heavy your foot is. But it will go for sure. And just make sure you get a really good tune? IS ur car M6 or A4?

Yea i know what u mean. The way i looked at it is "go big or go home lol" I mean my ms3 sounds so good and when ur sitting beside people at red lights and stuff it just turns peoples heads. I know a guy with an 02 T/A and he has a MS4 and he drives it daily. It all depends on what u want really if u want quick and still gets reasonable gas milage i would say go with the MS3/MS4. IS your car A4/M6??

yea i would say i prolly drive it 150/200 miles a week. But i also have 373's and i run around 2k before my stall locks up. So that prolly has a little to do with gas milage. I really only use about a tank in a half but thats without having a heavy foot lol. I mean one u put it in its takes a day or 2 to get used to it. O and about the oil pump and timing chain. Everyone that i know that has done cam swaps didnt replace any of that.

Good choice, if you're scared about breaking, why run your car to 7000+ every time you want to make peak power? And you really will enjoy driving the smaller cam around town.

There will be days you'll be all into your car, wanting every last HP and wish you had the MS4, but on the other side of the coin, there will be days you'll have a headache, or just want a nice easy cruise, or just not be in the mood, and you'll be glad you aren't fighting a big cam that rumbles like a race car.

224/228 is still going to have some lope to it though, so you'll still get people looking.

that is a great choice. It gives up only 10 to 15 peak HP to the MS3 or MS4 but it out runs them below 5000 rpm. Then next year get a set of heads to go with your new cam.
