I doubt the wait will be worth it. It will be nice to have another plastic intake to choose from. If it is better than the LS6 intake, then great.
I too made the mistake of going with a FAST 92 on my MS4, ported LS6 heads, z06 85mm MAF combo and can honestly say I would have been just as well off sticking with the LS6 intake/ported TB and stock ported MAF.
The FAST 90/92 IMO is just overkill for 99% of the 346 LS1s out there. However, it should do very well on my new 416 combo, so it's not wasted money - just money spent prematurely.
Anyone looking to reuse the stock TB and run a plate setup with this new intake will have a problem - with the angle of the lid/air intake setup and brackets. Just food for thought.

Couldn't wait any more...another 92 FAST has been bought. I would've loved to have gone different or something. I still may sand down the fast to make it smooth and paint it.

The untouched ugly truck manifold outperforms the LS6 manifold on 5.0L Daytona Prototype engines which make max power ~7000. I believe those engines make the kind of power most 5.7 and 6.0 LS engine guys would be proud of.
Runner length should be pretty easy to measure @ PRI.
