Yeah, the intake runners look more parallel than the LS6.... I wonder if any parts will be interchangeable between the LS2 and LS1/LS6 engines......

Man, it sounds like that new engine could put the LS1 to shame.

Possibilities:

Splayed valve, 10* valve angle, high port, 7.0L

I was looking at the fact that the intake entrance looks better than the Z06, and it looks to be slightly biiger. Also, a splayed valve head would be very, very cool.

that sounds pretty cool......it should be a direct swap (LS1 to LS2....)...just pull the current engine out and put one of those 7.0L LS2s in.....

edit:

it just hit me.....if GM comes out with a "new" engine (LS2)...then its possible that the cost of LS1 parts would really fall off (they are no longer state of the art...)....
