I have about 180 miles on er so far, some say after 200 mi, how long should I go, I've been slowly giving it more rev's and a little bit harder throttle, but not going above 2500 rpm, should I just take it slow, and every day after so many miles just give er a little more revv's, or what?,
new mods: cam, pushrods, valve springs, timing sprocket and chain, gaskets & bolts(duh), headers, non platinum plugs (gap 45), and.... yeah...
btw, I've been monitoring all fluids and guages, so far so good!

Once you heat cycle the valve springs get it hot then cool down do that 3 times then go out and enjoy it. You dont have to break in a cam headers, heads, and all that the only time you would want to baby it like that if the short block was new. Like new piston rings bearing crant. I had 1/2 mile on my cam before I took it to 6k I heat cycled the springs in the drive way and then let her rip.
