Default Crankshaft wear
Has anyone here experienced excessive crankshaft wear? I miked my crank tonight and the rod journals read: 2.0987, 2.0989, 2.0987, 2.0988.

So apparently two of the journals are at the service limit after about 5,000 miles. I'm guessing my technique was a little tight but I just wanted to make sure if anyone has experienced anything like this?

That looks acceptable to me. Every Journal is within 3 the thousandths of each other.

Yeah, I just figured they were a little low since the service limit is 2.0987". But I just think I need to loosn up on the mic a bit.
