Cam only....now heads

Ok, well my car recently put down 380hp to the wheels, and 360ish torque. Thats with a stock ported TB, LS6 intake, and STOCK heads. I'm just wondering if someone could give me a ballpark number of what they think i would/could make power wise, by throwing a decent set of heads on.

Cam specs are 231/237 .589 .595 112LSA. So....any guesses as to what numbers I would see after a set of heads?

It varies from setup to setup, but a good set of heads like our PRC stage 2.5 5.3L or LS6 heads will normally gain 40+ RWHP. It looks like you're running our old 231/237 cam.

If so, it actually has .598" lift on the intake. If you make right at 380 RWHP now, 420 RWHP would be very feasible (if not more).

Damn, thats a lot more power than I thought. Guess I should start saving! haha. And actually according to Speed Inc (where I had the cam/supporting mods installed) Its a Comp Cams custom ground cam. But thanks for chiming in! 420whp would be killer
