Re: Comp 918 Blu Stripe check in.. did you buy the whole spring kit from isky, with the new spring base? i have seen the spring kit and without the matching spring base the dampner is put in a premature bind, as in with the stock one.did you break a spring or the dampner?

I've got 16k miles on my pre-stripe 918s (I got them back in nov '01, which I believe was right before the bad batch came out) with a little T1 cam. About 30 passes, and no issues so far. Thinking about having a couple pulled off an checked for seat pressure soon.

are manley 221423 t-retainer 23632 good to 600
lift coil bined 1.100 i have 2000 miles on them
with 595 lift(pushing it) there still in one peice

Re: Comp 918 Blu Stripe check in.. 10,000 miles on my pre-blue stripe 918's. 8,000 miles with TR 220 cam and 2,000 miles with ASA cam rev to 6,600 rpm. No issues here. But then my lift now is only .525.
