Default Help needed from all you old timers...or you youngins.

I haven't been around for quite awhile since I went through another back surgery and put the car on the back burner...well it's time to make horsepower so I'm picking up where I left off.

Most of my parts are in my sig, but here's the run down. This week I'm doing my final prep and then next week my brother and I have all week to dive in.

OK, we're doing a head and cam swap, rear gears (4.10), long tubes...etc.

My heads are custom built by a friend who happens to build Nascar motors for Rousche and non Nascar parts for Arius and others. So I'm optimistic that they'll perform as well as some of the stage two stuff of at least 1.5. They're 62cc chambers with 2.02" Manley pro-flows, PRC gold doubles, beefy valve seats, titanium retainers etc. The cam is a Futral F14-112*

I really need help with the tune see Tuning thread

I'm also open to any advice that you guys have to offer. I was pretty much up to speed a few years ago, but now I'm trying to remember how to do all of this right. I do have the "How to article" from this site that I'm re-reading. I have all of the tools recommended in the article and a good heated shop to work in...well let the recommendations flow.

TIA.

Yep, got some modeling clay for the quickie and a dial indicator for the closer calls.

If I have plenty of clearance I'm thinking about ordering a set of .040" Cometics to tighten up the quinch, but I probably won't have time for the shipping...
