Default i'm lost. Need 383 help. also hp limits on such

I'm a bit lost. I'm building my engine that needs rods and pistons anyways. I'd like to stroke it if all I have to do is buy a crank and clearance the block. How big can I go? I'll be turboed and running about 6-650hp, will a steel crank be fine or do I need forged. I was going to use my stock ls6 crank so I think a steel eagle crank should work, I think I saw them for around $500 (is that right) I'd like to buy a rotating assembly that is already balanced but all the sets I've seen are forged crank. And how do I mismatch stuff to get a cr of 9.0:1???especially on a stroker.... I need a boar on my block too so that complicates stuff. Any help....

How much does your block need to be overbored to clean up?

The stock sleeves are thin and cant handle a whole lot.

Buy an Eagle 4" rotating assembly with dish pistons to lower your compression....no big deal and nothing mismatched about that at all.

I believe the entire kits sell for under 2K....

Good luck

Tony

The guy I bought it from claimed it would clean up at 5 thousandth. It's at the machine shop right now. Only kits under2k I've found are on ebay and that is always tricky.
