Main bearings
Main bearings Today I went to pick up my lq9 block and the shop had lost my new main bearings, I was wondering if I could use the main bearings that were on my ls1 which has got about 40,000 miles. They look pretty good, do you think they could work? By the way I'm building a 408 ci 300 naws

your going to reuse bearings??
I've seen people do it before, pulled the motor on a 250k mile 89 toyota pickup/ plow truck, needed head gaskets and all oil seals, reused the bearings and rings, just cleaned them up and slapped it back together.
but for a performance build I would use something like this

They lost them, there's no way they can find them and I am not worried about that, just want to know If I could use the main bearings that were on my ls1 which has got about 40,000 miles. They look pretty good, what do you say?
