rotating assembly hey i purchased an sts turbo kit for my 2000 Firebird WS6 and was looking at upping the boost to make 6-700 hp. would it be better to buy a complete rotating assembly or buy everything seperate? how much would it cost for a complete rotating assembly that can handle 700 hp?

tsp sells 383 and 408 for around 3500 to 4500 for the shortblock depending on the componets you want i havent looked at them in awhile though but its gona take alot more than that your going to have to upgrade parts on that turbo kit along with fuel to handle all that air and thats just getten started its not as easy as throwing a turbo kit on and going but this site has all the venders you need and the info you just have to search but if i had to throw an estimate i would say your looking at 8 to 10 grand on top of what you got already for what you want turbo builds can get real salty but there worth it

thanks, im not to sure about running boost on a stroker though, wouldnt it be harder to keep the comp ratio low? and i bought the racetronix 255 lph fuel pump and 60lb injectors and im lookin at a bigger turbo.

I just bought a Ls2 402 from texas speed ,this is with the shortblock & all the rotating assembly put together ,spec'd .mic'ed , the whole shabang ,That will withstand 800 rwhp all day & night ,for 4750 to the door ,btw i will be running 15 lbs of boost on this motor & I ordered the -15 cc dished pistons & its sits @ 9.1. compression

no its not hard to keep the comp low tsp can spec it for what ever you want with different dish pistions and different heads with larger chambers vette #3 looks like he has a good setup i would talk to him more and tsp pump and inj should be fine you might need bigger rails and lines dont know the limits of those but you gota think about heads cam and valvtrain intake exhaust transmission and rearend plus the labor and tuning if it were me i would buy the shortblock and all other parts put it all toghter myself it will save you alot money but i dont know how mechanical you are not being mean its just i live eat and sleep ls1 and your looking at a big project and you really have to know how to put your parts toghter and have your setup working properly everything will be critical if you have anymore ? postem up there are alot smart mo fosos on here that will be able to break it down alot better than me
