Most aggressive sounding, under the curve cam?

Thunder Racing TR230/224-111. Perfect daily driver with a nasty idle lope and lots of power under the curve. This cam will pull good to 6500 and peak under that. I would recommend a stall be installed w/ any cam(even the stock one). 3000-3600 converter and the tr230 w/ traction is an 11 second combo that's been proven many times.

I've got a pretty big cam but, it makes a lot of power under the curve - 350 tq at just over 3k with over 400 tq from 4500 to 6000rpm. 450 hp from about 5700 up to 6800ish with a peak of 462. That is with milled LS6 heads and through a M6 and a 9 inch.
PM me if you want a graph and clips
243/249 613/620 110+2 Yep, it's a T Rex...

I would like to keep stock heads..is there any dyno graphs or sound clips for the comp X-ER lobe .588/.595 or the cam that torchd02TA has? I know torchd02TA has a clip, but i would like to hear as many set-ups as possible

Does anyone has any more input on Patrick G's 'torque coming out of my ears cam'? I was looking at his dyno and he makes alot more torque down low than the ASA cam doesl, im just wondering how it would work in my stock heads set-up and how it sounded. I still cant find any more than 2 video or sound clips of the ASA cam, can anyone help me out?

Hard to find sound clips on that cam.
Best bet would be to listen to a sound clip of a cam with similar overlap.
I'm getting 11deg of overlap on my program (ASA cam), but you should verify that, with the specs and lobes of that cam..I might be off.
Patrick G's TQ cam was set up for his entire combination (heads, intake, etc). I believe his main point was the find a cam IVC that is not to late. I believe for stock heads, intake that is ~42-44deg.
In a recent thread, there was a consensus that any overlap over 6-10 degrees will start to have a point of diminishing returns.
So, while not exactly the answer you are looking for..I would PM Patrick or Predator-Z. It may end up that the quintessential 224/224 112 or 114 cam may be your answer.
That cam will still lope. While not as totally aggressive as a cam with 10-15 deg of overlap, the one poster was correct. Just lowering your idle rpm will essentially produce the same sound.
Good luck..
