I really like the low rpm torque of my TR220, but I'm going to be stepping up to the TR224 in the near future for a little more high rpm power

I would say just about any sponsors cam with 550-580 lift with duration in the 219-224 area. Way too many selections to say one is better than the other becuase their specs are so damn close. I prefer a 112 with +2-+4 advance.

higher LSA's make peak HP higher in the powerband. Lower LSA's will have a lopey idle as well .

so a higher lsa will idle better then? which makes a better torque curve? juice, whats the specs on ur cam? i'm starting to lean towards a 224/224 .581/.581 114lsa style

The higher LSA will give you better low rpm torque, but you have to rev higher for peak power. Advancing the cam will bring the peak down a little lower so you don't have to rev to the moon.

You really can't go wrong with a 224 cam, we sell alot of the 224R cams with 581 lift. I've also had a 220 cam in my Silverado & it also has a great idle & good low end power
