Thought i would see how many of you are using the Diablo to tune with, and what kinda results you're getting. Heard a lot of good things about the setup, would like ot hear from users.
Thanks, Charlie.

CAL, I understand. I have heard that a few guys are using it, thought they may on this board (the only one I use at least!). I have talked w/ dealer and he's sure he has helped a few guys out with the said cams. I'm more curious than anything ya know.

Installed a C1 (222), and the tuner used my Diablo on his dyno (he doesn't have Edit). He maxed out a few parameters and was not able to lean it out enough. Getting a full LS1 Edit on a Dyno next week at another place.

Yep, got it there too. As for SouthFl, did you get in touch with your tech to have them send you a custom file? Hell, you can go in and max everything out and not have it right. I already did that. But you should have a point of contact from the sales div. whoever you went through for purchase. This POC should have sent you a email with the criteria for downloading and uploading custom tunes? If you do have the custom tune for that cam then you need to contact them again. From my little knowledge on it, they should be able to do everything your tuner can do w/ edit, but via e-mailing the tune to you. The of course you have the ability to modify from there the fuel @ PE, spark, etc...The performance tune that is in the Diablo when you get it is no where near close for a custom cam, it is set up for a stock LS1!
Please respond, thank you.
Charlie.

All that you said should work in theory. I never established a relationship with my vendor, but I do have DiabloSport HQ's phone number, and have called them for tech questions. If you need the number, PM me. I'm just gonna go with a full LS1Edit Dyno tune session. I have no patience for coordinating custom tunes with anyone right now. Just want to pay a guy to slap the car on the dyno and tune it live.

Thats good feed-back. I have talked w/ one in particular, James. Very knowledgeable and thorough, seems more than competent. Have a few friends with the Diablo and are worried it may not work, but from the tech I have received it shouldnt be a problem, other than waiting like you said. Although you can get the tuning done prior to install of the cam and then DL it once the cam is in!
Thanks.
Thanks.

MaxedOut. It goes like this. You get the Pred. install the generic perf. tune, auto saves you stock. You save the data from the perf tune install, and email it to the Vendor, in this case James. You list ALL your mods, and what you would like, e.g. like raise idle, delete Rear O2's etc.. He then emails you back (may take a few days) a file that you DL into your Pred. and then into your car. You can change fuel, spark, trans functions, fans setitngs, etc... but the most of the tuning is done from the info you provide thru request/your file/ and what you monitor while using the monitor live data function. As for what exactly is done, raising the PETable etc...that is done when you email your file to them..you dont have to worry about it.

one last question by vendor do you mean like the store you bought it from. Im getting mine from thunder racing so should I talk to them. Or the techs at predator?
