Default Will 6.0L heads bolt on LS1?

Will 6.0L heads bolt on LS1? Are they a viable head swap? I have a chance to get a pair dirt cheap. Just dont know if it would be a decent upgrade.

Depends if they are 243s or 317s.

Both the 243s and the 317s have similar ports, the difference is that the 243 has a 64cc chamber, while the 317s have a 72cc chamber.

So the 317's will just have lower compression than 243's? What size are the stock LS! heads?

Correct!

68cc for the 853s, 806s and 241s.

If you plan on F/I then get the 317s. If your planning on staying N/A the they wont net you any HP.

Yes, they will bolt up. You want the 72cc 6.0L heads for FI. 317's and 035's are pretty much the same thing.
