yeah that is going to be tight...the max lift doesnt really matter as much as you think...with my cam right when the intake started to open there was more clearance than .073...it was actually moving faster than the piston was to get out of the way...i cant remember what mine was exactly but the closest it was i want to say 5-10* ATDC

at .050 open intake it was around 8* BTDC and the clearances got tighter and tighter till around (5-10* ATDC) would have to check for exact number...
