i dont think you can make 373 with our bore, a 373 is a 350 with a 383 crank and stock pistons from what i remember, someone chime in if im wrong.

Never heard of such a thing, be careful purchasing eBay engines. I have had customers that did so, and ended up with problems.

Uhm, yeah your wrong. There is not 383 from the factory, you get a 383 from using a 350 block (4.00" bore) with a 400 crank (3.75" stroke).

We had a 374 in our shop red car a while back. Combo ran good minus the broke tranny. Made gobs of power. We sprayed it once or twice with a baby 100 shot i believe it was. I loved that combo. Car has since been sold to a customer in Louisiana and still runs the combo. Although for the price, you could do a 403 or 408 for a little more money. Pm me if you need to!

Unless its a mopar, 383's came in the mopars in the late 60's and early 70's.

If people would just click on the link and do some math you'd see it's really easy to figure out. 3.905 bore and a 3.900 stroke = 373.xxx ci

I read the link. Its a 3.90'' crank instead of a 4.00'' crank. It also states that the rods are 6.200'' I-beam rods. I dont think it would be worth it in my opinion for 1,700 dollars...A few hundred more and you have the added qualities of a real rotating assy.

I found this but they are using cheaper pistons. with the boost and spray id rather get the kit with the JE pistons.

The kit from eagle runs $1799 and $1999 using JE piston. I think it would be a good combo and I'm looking at myself. It interesting me because it the closest thing to "square" square engine which makes for a very well balanced engine. Should be stout. Any news on this?
