TR6 at .035 to .040.

If you want to take a TR55 to that level buy the TR5, it is suited to go lower as it starts at .040 (I think) whereas moving a TR55 down to .030 is too much movement on the plug IMHO. The TR5 is the same as the TR55 (heat range) just smaller gap whereas the TR6 has a different heat range AND smaller gap. With high compression and a lot of HP, your better off with the TR6 according to NGK. I'm running them at .042 with 431hp.

good choice man. its always better to start cold first on a high compression motor, then work your way up in heat range from there if needed.

Reviving this one - on the NGK site they list the Z06 as coming with TR6s but gapped at .054? The "stock gap" for the TR6 is listed as .044? So for N/A 11 to 1 compression LS1 at about 400HP to the wheels (465HP at the flywheel) what is the recommended gap?
