Power gains from an LS6 cam?
I'm thinking about swapping my stock cam for an LS6 cam in my 98 SS. My car only has a lid and a loudmouth. What kind of gains should I expect?

I put an LS6 cam in my gf's TA...its a 01 motor in her car, with full length headers, off road y, m6 and a 9" rear...
With no tuning it made 353/349...the lack of torque I attribute to the large dynatech headers I used. I believe with minimal tuning this car will see an easy 365rwhp...

Re: Power gains from an LS6 cam?
I just put one in a 6 liter with a Whipple. It ran a best of 7.93 at 85.5 in the 1/8th before and after it has gone 7.97 at 85.0 with the same 60 ft. The weather was quite a bit worse on the after pass so I am undecided and now it is torn up again so we'll never know but I can safely say it didn't make any noticeable difference for me.
