Default Cam Swap Decision
I have a 98 Trans Am. It is a H/C/I forged 347. It has:
diamond flat tops
compstar rods 6.125
stock crank
tea 5.3 stg 1.5
0.40 cometics
30lb svos
longtubes
slp pulleys
ls6 intake
ported tb
6 speed
no emissions or cats

It has an ms3 in it now 603-609 237-242 112 How much power will I gain to swapping to this cam 598/598 242/244 110 lsa? If any?

you're probably not gonna see much....less lift and only a little more duration.

but i'd say you're more limited on the heads.

upgrade those and you'll see more power than a cam swap
