Sounds like a pretty good cam. Where can I find that grind? The closest thing I could find is Futral 232"/236" .585"/.600" 114LSA

EDIT: just sent you an e-mail via your website, Patrick.

Have you tried another tune on the car? Maybe that would help with your issues below 2k. Here's a vid of mine at idle, no bucking and no surging with the right tune... Just a thought....

Welcome to the Domestic world

Just so you know... you only have 1 cam in that engine... seemed like you kept saying "cams"

Patrick G is a sponser on this site for recommending cams, so he definately knows his stuff... I'd go with whatever he recommends... a 224 cam will be about as big as you can go and keep it emmissions legal, and is totally a DD cam... If you want a little more umph in your cam i'd go with the above recommended...

personally i'm getting a 224 cam.... it's an all around proven cam

Yeah, saying cams is like a habit because I have been around imports all along. Well, still have an import but with domestic engine I've been talking to Patrick and it looks like I'll go with little bit milder can than the one he originally recommended. Now I just need to save up for a cam job.

chuckyt1, I haven't tried a different tune but since the car is my daily driver, I think it's a good decision to step down a bit.

Not trying to sway your decision or anything but I'm sure you know that a good tune can be the difference in night and day! Even on a big cam!
