hey guys just got my cam and prc 670lift springs, and im looking for the best tool to use with the heads still on the car. i know snap on makes 3 different ones, crane makes one, and i know some other companies out there do too, just trying to see what everyone has used from experience thanks again.

Put a big socket on the retainer and wack it with a hammer, the locks will pop right off.

Kidding...

I like the Crane tool. I have only used it when the heads were off though.

I have used the Crane/Vinci tool many times, one of the best tools in my tool box. Vinci has the best price on it >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If its the type that has a claw and you physically grab the valve spring coils, you are asking for problems using this type of spring compressor on an aftermarket valve spring. I would advise against it.
