Default Blower Cam Question

I'm looking at a cam to pair up with the Eaton 112 I'm gonna pick up from LMSpeed, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I want something with some lope to it, and I'm not too concerned on low end power / torque as the Maggie will take care of that. This will be run with LTs and a Spec 3+. I don't want something that will drive like *** on the street as it's where 90% of this cars time will be.

Options:

224/232 .581/.595 114 (114 might bleed off boost?)

or the one I really want from EPP

232/240 .595/.608 115
Now keep in mind this is with STOCK heads. So will PV clearance be a problem with this one? Just for anyone curious here is the EPP Cam.

That epp cam is going to be too big of a cam for a stock bottom end and a blower

Yes the EPP one is a little extreme. I think the first may suit my needs better. The first cam is a SC2 by Speed Inc, by the way.

What would it take to get that cam to work in my engine?

I think it would work. Call or message EPP and let us know what they say.

The cam I would recommend is our SC1 222/228 .564/.571 114

"Bleeding off boost" its an assumption, but doesn't actually happen

One of highest dynoing blower car we've had used a 112 LSA cam FWIW

Good to know. Thanks Fraser. So why do people say bleeding off boost does happen?

How something looks on paper and how something performs in the real world can be two entirely different elements.

I would have never guessed a 232/234 .595/.598 112+2 cam would be a well performing blower cam, but it worked. Have to think outside the box I guess?

What i've noticed, overlap works likewise for N/A as it does forced induction.

I would consider the 'bleeding off boost' mentality when the exhaust port had flow similar to the intake port, but from what i've witnessed, the exhaust doesn't flow enough.
