With those PRC heads being a little small for a fire breathing 383, you will want a little more overlap to make best power under the curve NA.

238/242 .615/.610 111LSA +2 would be great NA.

For a 200 shot, you'll want to keep the IVO, IVC, EVC and overlap the same for what works best NA, but open the exhaust valve 8 degrees earlier (to lessen pumping losses on the spray). The resulting nitrous cam would be:

238/250 .615/.615 113LSA +4
Please note, this cam has the same IVO, IVC, EVC and overlap as the NA cam. The exhaust valve is opened 8 degrees earlier. This would rock on the spray plus give a very strong mid-range punch.

That cam isn't bad at all on the street. I have the same cam in my 383 and it drives great around town.

You dont need a huge cam with a 383 stroker to get to/close to 500whp. My Lunati 383 383 has a medium sized Cartek cam (234/.600/113) and put 492 to the wheels with conservative pump gas timing. It is all on the heads and the tune, not just having a big *** cam.

What ever you do, don't over cam it. That is a common mistake with wanting more power. In some cases, less is more and more can be less.

I'm building a 383 right now and I'm going with a T-Rex that came in this car I bought. It's a 242/248 On a 110lsa. I'm not real sure on the lift. I think this will work well for a drag set up. But it could be taylor made to squeak a little more out of it. But should achieve my goals just fine.

You should really consider the specs Patrick G recommended, he is very good at speccing cams and really knows what he is talking about. If not something very close to that with similar valve events.
