Default will this work?

these heads-
-02 241 heads tooken off at about 20k then p n p with 2.02 manley severe duty stainless valves, manley nextek double valve springs(good to .650) retainers and locks.
-ms4 cam

will my ptv clearance work???

my ls6 heads have been milled twice, i believe .040 total, and i have no clearence issues. you can always get a little thicker gasket to be safe, but iv'e heard there are some issues if they are too thick. you can put the heads on with some clay on a piston then rotate the motor by hand remove the head and know for sure

ya but the cam i am running is .649 lift. i might try the clay thing, but i dont understand? either it will work or it wont, everybody is like maybe, i am looking for a straight answer.

You should flycut as the intake clearance is already tight with the stock valve. You can clay it as recommended above to see how much to cut. What LSA is the cam?

There is a post by TSP(post #14) in the following linked thread that states the average measured PTV with the MS4 is .060 on the intake side. Most folks will tell you not to run less than .080 w/o flycutting. Add to that the larger intake valve and you have less than .060.

You know if two people come on here and say it'll be fine, let you assemble your **** and it breaks a valve head off and ruins your whole engine what are you going to think?
You want the answer? Mock it up and check it and you'll have your straight answer. Duration will cause ptv contact before lift will.

i just figured there would me a mathematical calculation or someone has the same set-up that is all. because if it wont work i wont buy the ms4
