anyone elso ever heard of these rods?
I tried a search in here with no results, so I thought I would ask someone that knows more than I do about this stuff, just seems really cheap for a set of forged rods.

Personally, I wouldnt go with H-beams anyways. They are heavy and un-necessary in my opinion. I would take a good set of forged I beams anyday. I am personally a big fan of Probe Industries stuff. They make some really nice, really strong lightweight I beams.
For me, the lighter the rotating mass, the better. I will sacrifice a little bit of strength for a lot of weight. Im not too much of a drag racer, so for downshift rev matching and off apex acceleration, I like the light stuff.

they kind of look like the ones i got, but from a diff vendor-i think i paid around $280-they were supposed to be on center, but the machine shop had to take a little off the small end to make them right-i had the big/small ends ck'ed, they had good pin fit and turned out pretty good overall-i prob ended up with around $400 in them, i think Scat has some for that
prolly a second to a eagle or compstar they all prolly made by same people just put different names on them and they got the cheap 8740 bolts dont try and put nitrous on them they will break trust me i know
For $50-100 more go with Eagle or Scat rods. My last set of Eagle rods all spec'd out on the big and small ends and were balanced within .5 gram out of the box. Well worth the added $$. Choose your rod design based on the expectations of the motor. If your going all out a Hbeam is a better idea. For a 500rwhp NA motor the I beam should be fine.
