Default LS6 double roller install question

I have been searching for about an hour and cant seem to find it again but I read somewhere that you have to shim the oil pump for clearance on a double roller install. I just want to make sure I have everything before I even start this since its my DD. If this is true, where do I buy the parts?

This is the chain I bought

https://www.patriot-performance.com/...&cat=49&page=1

And if you want to know why I went double roller. My cam is huge! .649 lift. I also bought the PP springs good to .660. Just wanted something that would be reliable. (as reliable as it can be with what I have)

I think...and I could be wrong, that if you use a double roller and a under drive pulley you have to have the pulley machined. This might be only on a vette motor. They mention it on www.ls1howto.com in the cam install section. I am sure someone with way more GenIII knowledge will chime in.

the snout of the pulley has to be machined down. You need to clearance the timing cover and probabally the back of the pump. There was a thread a couple days ago about it.

I just did that Install, usually the shims for the oil pump come with your timing chain kit.
I have a Melling HV oil pump which is slightly beefier than the stock pump so I had some grinding to do, I also had to take the pump cover on the lathe and take a little off from there too! I also installed a underdrive pulley (ATI) didn't need anything to do there 'cause the snout of the ATI pulley is allready smaller at the end
If you have any question let me know...

That is the JP Performance set. JP now also owns Rollmaster. The set should have had the oil pump shims with it, one is triangular shaped and the other is more rectangular. Make sure they are correctly installed as someone recently installed the triangular plate incorrectly and partially blocked his oil flow. JP also has excellent tech support. I spent a lot of time with them on the phone last night. I have the number at home though, but if you shoot me a PM I can provide it (that's only so I remember).
