I would be interested to know how the car performs with higher mileage with the exact same mods as say one with much lower mileage.

I wonder how far off the dyno numbers would be at 150,000 miles compared to 50,000 miles.

The true results would be from having an exact same setup, and having the only difference being mileage.

Well that would be nearly impossible to do, considering each car has different options, different weights of the drivers, different tires, maybe you could make that comparison with two stock cars...but chances are there are gonna be many things that are different...anyways I plan on putting mine in with 105k

165k with MTI V1 cam (400rwhp) and I'm installing Trick flow heads next week with 170k miles. Car burns no oil and pulls like a beast. I can see this motor lasting another 60+

Thumbs up TR224 on mine

My '99 had about 74,000 miles on it when I did headers and TR224 cam back in April 2005. I also upgraded to the SLP ported oil pump (since it was right there in front). today, I have 116,000 miles on it, still running on the Comp 918 springs etc. I took a stethoscope to the underside of my engine to see if I could hear any rod knock, and I don't have anything to worry about

Mine was done with a medium/small size cam (228/232) at around 68K on the clock... runs great. Only issues was a blown headgasket i think because i drove it around too much untuned. After the tune it runs fine on a warm engine. Other than that, everything is in perfect working condition.

Mileage is neglegable for a blown headgasket if it was tuned improperly, or worse in your case, not tuned at all.

I think when it comes down to it, it is really the condition your engine is in, and the condition you keep it in maintenance wise that will really determine if upgrading to an agressive (or just aftermarket all together) H/C/I setup will give you problems with more mileage. If your engine is already in bad shape, the heads, cam, and intake can put more strain on things and give you problems that were going to happen with a higher mileage non taken care of engine in the first place. However, keeping it maintained well, it should be in almost similar condition as if it had less mileage on it, and then you should be fine.

Yeah, i wasn't blaming my miles... it was the fact i drove it untuned i think where i messed up.

Installed my G5-X2 last January (2007) right at 70,000 miles. A year and 10,000 miles later it's perfectly find and made 436/397.
