Default Slight damage on Crank reluctor ring...can it be fixed?

I just bought this from another member on the site, and sometime during shipment one of the teeth on the reluctor ring was slightly damaged. If I straighten it back out, will it be salvageable? Do I even need to bother with it? I thought I might be able to take a mallet and a wood block (for support) and tap it back straight.

I would take that to a machine shop. Have them measure everything and if all is OK polish the surfaces for you.

Just don't polish to much ,because you must maintain .020" between to reluctor ring and the crank sensor for it to read,I have had one of the teeth bent before and heated it up and used a screwdriver to bend it back in place and use a straight edge to check it by.
