How much money do you have to spend? Do you already have the upgraded springs or are you going to price that with the head? You can find Patriots in the FS section for 900 fully worked up. Or you can buy new for 1295. AFR is the way to go if you have the extra money and want the most out of your car going fwd. If all you want is a head cam combo save the money buy the patriots and use the remainder for a n2o kit.

Et performance and trick flow are great too, but they are priced up there with AFR.

ETP 215 or TFS 215 as long as money is not an issue and you want the best. Both are around $2500 and considered cream of the crop for stock cube motors. Either will also work well with that cam.

Good luck.

IMHO the AFR205 head is better suited to your cam.

I'll vote TFS also. I have them, so I'm biased.

I like the Patriots myself. I've got a set of the LS6 stage 2, and I love em'. They may not be top of the line but it's hard to beat their bang for the buck factor. I'd say they would be perfect for that 226, but that 230/236 probably would benefit from the additional flow. I guess it's up to you if that extra 15HP or so is worth the $1000.
