Update to this for any of those searching with this problem:

This knock I mention has been happening since I bought my Formula but since I am not at WOT very often, I never payed much attention to it until now. I replaced my stock DESCREENED MAF today with a SCREENED MAF and all of my problems went away. I went for a little cruise tonight and in 2nd the car pulls like it never has before. And I am able to finally pull to redline unlike before when Mr. Knock would come in.

So check your MAF guys!

Glad you found your problem. Another lesson learned here is get a proper analysis when you suspect timing, fuel issues. Detecting knock and a lean condition is easy with a scanner and can save a lot of time and possible damage.

"Detecting knock and a lean condition is easy with a scanner and can save a lot of time and possible damage."

And money from not just throwing parts at it

Exactly. I was throwing 2 MAF codes, so kinda obvious that the MAF was my problem. Thank god I did not spend all day replacing my knock sensors!
